[Eos Tower was, at its root, was a building of empty indulgence, the pinnacle of this city's message, its shining masterpiece. Cold and unwelcoming, sleek and white and too empty. It reminded Fang so much of Cocoon that she avoided her own floor except when it came time to sleep, but with Vanille's arrival she has put in considerable effort to make it feel more like home.

Their real home too, was whitewashed and blurred out now, covered in shimmering crystal dust as white and fine as snow, but Fang's floor is anything but. She's giving Vanille a tour of it today, the visit cleared and accounted for. From the ceiling, colorful, sheer drapery is hung. Large, scenic windows flicker in and out with holographic displays of nature, fading from wide rolling plains to fields of flowers to high mountaintops in slow intervals. The sunken living room opens up to a sleek couch and fireplace, and down one of the long hallways is Fang's bedroom.

...They've gotten about that far. Currently, they are, in Fang's words, "taking a detour." Spending time in public and unable to touch is a constant tightrope balance for her, an idiotic rule she would gladly break were it not for the danger she'd put Vanille, and so here, in relative privacy, they can both indulge in one other.]

You know, I was supposed to be giving you a tour. [Fang is meaning to scold, but it's more of a joke, especially given that it had been her idea to drag Vanille into the bedroom in the first place. Now she's on her back on the bed, her hands moving idly up Vanille's hips to her bare torso, the touching lazy for now, seemingly random. She is intending to drag this indulgence out. There's a crooked edge to her smile when she speaks again.] Now you've gotten us both distracted.

[ The chance to have some alone time and be able to see where Fang lives is exciting for Vanille. It gives her a chance to see how well she has been doing and if she's able to live a comfortable life here. Fang's comfort is most important to her after all.

That's why until now, she did her best to avoid physical contact with her. It's funny how when one is told not to do something, it's a lot harder to hold back. But Vanille did it while they were in public so that life would remain easier for them, or at least her.

Getting into trouble would result in Fang following after her and that isn't part of her plan with living here. The rules feel so silly to her, but she'll follow them either way.

At least now she doesn't need to worry about that. ]

I've gotten us distracted, huh? I guess I do hold some blame in that, but it's not completely my fault. [ Vanille playfully pouts at Fang. Her tone is soft and friendly, showing that she doesn't exactly care about the whole 'blame game' that might happen. Her mind is a little more focused on Fang's touch, feeling those cool fingers along her skin. It's nice, helping that earlier craving melt away. ]

Nope. It's completely your fault. [This is delivered with a grin too bright to be innocent, and eventually she shifts a little so that she might be able to sit up and hold Vanille in her lap rather than lie on her back. Not that she minded the view too terribly.

Like this though, she can kiss her way up Vanille's bare torso, the affectionate gesture accompanied by the slick heat of her tongue in the dip of her bellybutton. The kisses move up steadily, slowly. Fang sees no need to rush, it seems, despite the desperation brought on by their constant struggle to keep their hands to themselves.

She's just being a tease.] Me, I'm innocent in this. [The words are warm and muffled against Vanille's skin.] Caught in the crossfire, is all.

[ How typical. Here Fang, have another childish pout from Vanille as she tries to act like she isn't impressed with how all the blame is being shifted onto her. It's good that she isn't taking any of this seriously. She knows Fang well enough when to do so and this isn't a moment for that.

There's a small gasp at the contact when it comes to her bellybutton, her stomach sucking in just a little. She hadn't expected that to be mixed in with the kissing, but she didn't dislike it. ]

So, I guess I'm the big bad then, huh? [ She watches Fang carefully and places her hands on her arms, fingers tracing over cold scars that she's able to feel. ] Does that mean you're going to punish me for that? [ She'll join in with the teasing because two can play that game. ]

[Let's go with something befoooore everything goes to shit. Cause that would be good. Instead, let's just pretend it's a normal day! One where Mercury watched Yang spar, since you know, being around for people sparring is just something he does. Checking out what everyone has to offer.

So when she's done and out, he'll go ahead and follow her out, just to get a little more info.]

Not bad. Doesn't really look like there's much competition here for you.

[ If it was any other day in the future, she would deck him.

Thankfully that won't happen. Instead, Yang is feeling proud of herself because she really did give it her all -- nearly all. There are still some secrets she's gotta keep hidden. Can't ruin the surprise after all. ]

Psh, you're just saying that. Although I am good, but that's all thanks to a lot of training.

Isn't it always? It doesn't really make it any less impressive, you know. Your hard work really shows.

Yeah, true enough. You can't get anywhere if you don't work hard enough.

Can't become a huntress if there's no effort put into it. [ And where is the fun in that? There is none. ]

You must really wanna become one, huh?

Well, duh. I wouldn't be here and working hard to become one if I didn't.

True. Why go through all the effort, right?
